I bought this on the advice of my ObGyn who said it would save me money b/c I had been buying OPK's with a long cycle for about 4 months. It was easy to get excited about. The first month, it was off by 5 days. I thought it just needed to adjust. The second month, it said I ovulated on Day 9... pretty much impossible being that I have cycles that vary between 32-42 days on average. I had to "back up" the monitor with OPK's (I used two different brands), which ended up costing me more money but incrased accuracy. Turns out I seemed to have ovulated on Day 22, which makes more sense. When I called customer service for the monitor, the woman explained that it needs at least two months to adjust. Most women who buy this aren't so interested in having two months worth of adjusting, especially for $200. I am not at the point where I am overly concerned about getting pregnant, so that helps. It's just a shame that the monitor was so inaccurate and now I'm not sure I want to buy a new pack of test sticks for the next time around. I seemed to do better with the OPK's.

My husband and I hadn't been trying very long before getting this monitor, but we did try the Ovulation sticks and the fertility charts. Charting was fun, but all that really did for me is show me that I kept missing my ovulation date because on Web MD it kept telling me that it was day 14 and after charting for three months I learned that I ovulate between day 8 and 12, but with charting you only find out the day after that it's too late to use the Ovulation sticks, so, after reading all the reviews on here I decided to check out the monitor. I ordered the monitor and the 30 Pack of sticks. The monitor was very easy to use and the instructions were very clear. I had no problem with it at all. I received my order very fast, set up the monitor for my cycle and just followed the prompts. It was pretty easy. On 14 dpo I tested and got a positive. My husband and I are very happy with this product. I also recommend this product to two of my coworkers and both succeeded on the first try as well. Good luck to everyone trying.

After 6 frustrating months of trying, I finally convinced my hubby to spring for the monitor and test sticks. I have an irregular cycle, so it was great to actually see my cycle progress. I had tried several different ovulation kits prior to this and none of them worked. I just took a pregnancy test last week and we are pregnant!!! It worked the first time! Now I have a ton of leftover test sticks. Yahoo!

We got pregnant in the third month. The monitor really helped me keep track of how long my cycle was, when I ovulated, what day I was on, etc. Charting with the basal temperature EVERYDAY just seemed like a pain. With the monitor you only have to take about 8-10 tests a month, and it lets you know when your estrogen level rises (when it goes from low to high) and then when it detects HcH (from high to peak). After it peaks, you don't have to test again until after your period. Helped me to keep track of when to expect my period (14 days after ovulation). Also nice to know we were trying when we were supposed RIGHT AWAY, not after a month or two after determining ovulation from the basal temperature.

I finally bought this product after two months of ttc just winging it and using OPKs. My cycle is too irregular for the OPKs and I wasn't sure when I was ovulating. I was skeptical but I decided to splurge on the CbEFM and it was so worth it - I had a positive pregnancy test after just one month! I reccomend this highly to anyone that has unpredictable cycles. It showed me Day 21 as high, Day 22, 23 as Peak and Day 24 as high. I never would have known I ov'd so late in the cycle without this machine. I had to use 20 sticks but since it worked the first month that is all I needed! Buy it!!
